Security is what drives me: learn to think like an attacker, and learn to build like a defender. Identity and access management is my domain, and anything that runs on radio waves pulls me in, from RFID and NFC to shortwave and LoRa. I also serve as a reservist in Germany’s territorial defence. Off the clock it’s engines, family and friends. Based in Nierstein, Germany.
A mobile web app for clubs: members, access rights, events, chat, tasks, cash book and donation receipts. Every sensitive change is approved with a passkey and leaves a signed, independently verifiable receipt in a tamper-evident audit chain; member records are encrypted one by one. Members carry their card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and open the door with an NFC tap (Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap on an Elatec TWN4 reader).
Failover and service placement for a home network: every workload can move between machines so they can sleep, with an always-on router as the witness.
A minimal Ubuntu server image for Intel MacBook Pros with the Apple T2 chip, built and tested without touching a real disk.
A solar-powered receiver station: OpenWebRX+ with smart band switching, two HF receive chains compared side by side, RBN and APRS feeds, a status page and a battery forecast for the 400 Wp panel.
An unattended FT8/FT4 station for the Icom IC-705, packaged as one container: wfview for CAT and audio, WSJT-X Improved for decoding and an automatic QSO runner.
Firmware for a network-controlled antenna switch, so the station picks the right antenna without anyone walking to the shack.
A MeshCore firmware variant that listens to the LoRa mesh and publishes what it hears to MQTT, for maps and statistics.
Collects telemetry from Meshtastic nodes and keeps it for later analysis.
A parametric two-part case for the Heltec mesh node: display window, flexure buttons, flat LiPo bay and an SMA bulkhead.
