Event ticket · SV Wolkenhain 1921

A ticket for the fair.

The ticket to a fictional sports club’s summer fair, issued as an event ticket pass: date, venue, entrance and area on the front, the booking code on the back. Scan the code for your phone. Every scan brings a new made-up guest, and the ticket lets nobody in.

How it would work

Book

A guest buys a ticket on the club’s site or at the office and gets a link, the pass lands in the wallet.

Tap

At the entrance the reader takes the ticket number from the phone and the server marks it as used.

Change

If the fair moves or a guest cancels, the pass is updated or voided in the wallet. No reprinting.

Try it with your own reader

Elatec TWN4 firmware

The keyboard firmware for an Elatec TWN4 MultiTech reads this ticket too: hold it to the reader and it types the ID, followed by Enter. It is handed out on request only, because the image carries its key in plain form.

For an ACS WalletMate II there is a key package instead: it stores the demo key in the reader’s Apple slot, and the reader decrypts the pass itself. Both come through the same request.
